Is Dickson's Marine a boat dealer?
Answer: No. We are dealers for Cummins, MerCruiser, Volvo Penta and Yanmar engines.
Will I be billed for warranty work performed at Dickson's?
Answer: Dickson's Marine is a full service dealer for Cummins, Mercury, MerCruiser, Volvo and Yanmar. Repairs which are done and covered under the owner's warranty are normally paid directly through the manufacture to Dickson's marine.
Can I purchase OEM and aftermarket parts from Dickson's?
Answer: Absolutely. We stock OEM parts, accessories and fluids from Cummins, Mercury, Volvo and Yanmar. We also have daily stocking and parts orders arriving at both locations so getting the hard to find or larger parts is no problem.
What is CMD Marine?
Answer: CMD Marine is a joint venture between Cummins Diesel Engines and Mercury Marine. The focus of the venture is to bring reliable diesel power in a stern drive package to both the recreational and commercial markets. Dickson's Marine is one of the only dealers in the Northeast to be both a certified Cummins and Mercury dealer fully able to back both products for the user. We have installed and serviced many CMD Marine stern drive packages ranging from the 120hp 1.7 Liter to commercial installations of the powerful 320hp 4.2 Liter.
